I tend to do a great deal of research before I do a home improvement project. Floor Coverings International lived up to its five star rating. Eric Curtis is the personification of Customer Service. He went above and beyond. There was no detail that was too small for him to follow up and he was a great resource for other home improvement entities. I would wholeheartedly endorse Floor Coverings International.

Floor Covering International of Southeast Dayton: -the owner (Eric Curtis) was extremely helpful and walked us through the whole process one step at a time. -He helped us find the perfect flooring. See pics -He answered all of our many questions on the different products and brands. -He was very dependable. He (and his crew) always gave us heads up on when they would be arriving and they were very punctual. -Our installer was highly experienced. -They were very professional in our home. -They cleaned up at the end of each day and let us know what to expect for the following day(s). -Our renovation was removing and replacing our entire main floor. -Reno’s can be overwhelming and they were great at making sure we were doing ok through the entire process. -Final day they did a walk thru with us and made sure that we were completely satisfied with everything. -We give this company, owner and installer and team a strong FIVE out of FIVE stars. -We will be using them again for future projects & will definitely be recommending them to others.

They had to come out 10 different times to fix there mistakes, which then in turn I had to take of work to meet them. The also sold me a product that they didnt have enough of to finish the job which they didnt tell me until they had 90% of it laid down. DONT EVER USE THESE PEOPLE

I want to thank James, Eric and the team for replacing my floor within the time frame needed. James kept me updated throughout the entire process and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I can't say enough about how professional installers were! They were very respectful of my home, took great care in installing the flooring down to the smallest detail! I am very happy with the quality of the carpet and kitchen flooring that they put down and I would highly recommend them to anyone! If you're looking for quality flooring and installation, I would highly recommend them!

Even though I was informed that it would be an estimated 4 days to complete the floors in my small house, I quickly learned why. The installers assigned to my house would show up late and leave very early, only working 3-4 hours per day the first 3 days. On day 3, they completed my very small, but only bathroom. They had stated originally that they would re-set the toilet, but instead I received a call that they were having difficulties re-setting my toilet because the flange was broken and leaking. They told me to call a plumber, they were leaving. I was working at 2:00 when they called and had to drop everything to begin calling plumbers to find one that could fix it that evening. It cost over $500 unexpectedly for emergency call and it wasn’t a broken flange. There was nothing wrong with it other than it being old. After I sent complaint to the owner that same evening, they had the nerve to contact me the next day claiming the plumber didn’t repair correctly. They didn’t have any facts, just info from ChatGpt and an installer with a bruised ego. The attached photo was how the bathroom was left. The unsealed hole in the floor, allowing gases, etc. into the house and the toilet sitting on cardboard. They needed to stay until after 7:00p on day 4 to finish. My granddaughter and I had to wait until they left and I cleaned up after them for the 4th night in a row before we could eat dinner. Outside of the scraps and trash left behind, the final product was pretty good.

We had specific needs, like moving large furniture and reinforcing the floors to securely carpet the stairs, and he delivered on all fronts. What impressed me even more was how flexible Mr. Curtis was. I found a carpet type he didn’t have in his samples, but he worked directly with the carpet providers to install exactly what I wanted. The installer, Richie, deserves a special mention—he was punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our furniture was returned to its rightful place. The value we received for the high level of service and attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Eric Curtis and his team, every inch of our home now has beautiful, new flooring with 20-year warranties! While I won’t need new floors anytime soon, I would absolutely recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone in a heartbeat.
