Generally, we were very pleased with the outcome of our flooring project by Floor Coverings International. The estimate and product selection process was easy and efficient thanks to Beau and their mobile showroom. Issues were discovered in our subfloor when our old rug was removed, but a reasonably priced remedy was offered that did not delay the project. Most of the work was completed by one person, Jay. He was very skilled and worked hard all day long without breaks. Our only concern with the work was the amount of black dust that was generated by cutting the flooring planks in the house. Had we known, we would have removed all the clothes in the bedrooms closets which all had to be washed or shaken and aired out. To their credit, FCI recognized this problem when the project was finished, and had professional cleaners come the following week to give our entire house a thorough cleaning. Owner Tim facilitated this, and he was very helpful in addressing issues when they arose. We would definitely use them again.

I recently had a minor project for my summer residence, something that most contractors would not even entertain. I was called back within ten minutes, and given the opportunity to go to the business to pick up materials after hours, and personally met one of the installers. All of the staff are helpful. We worked with Sophia O., she problem solved and communicated with us consistently. The warehouse staff was cheerful, even at 7 am. Highly recommend.

I recently engaged Floor Coverings International of Cape Cod for carpet installation in the loft area of my home. I am floored (see what I did there?) by both the ease in which this project came together, and the professionalism with which I was treated. One of the owners, Matt, came to my house with samples, making it easy for me to view different options, without having to lug carpet samples to and fro a store. This was such a convenience. I feel Matt's knowledge and expertise was extremely helpful in making my final choice. The company also has a Project Manager, Kraig, who gave timely and thorough communication throughout the process. The carpet I ordered happened to be on back-order, but Kraig kept me informed of all changes in the timeline, so I could plan accordingly. I can't say enough about my positive experience with Floor Coverings International of Cape Cod. My experience was stellar from start to finish. I highly recommend them for all of your flooring needs!

Floor coverings of cape cod recently did the flooring for our house on the cape. From the start they were extremely responsive and accommodating. Beau made multiple trips to our homes (on and off cape) to make sure we were confident in our product decisions and pricing. During the project we were kept updated daily with pictures, and questions when needed. The in-home show room / product samples really made the process of choosing flooring easy.

Professionalism to this place is baseball caps, dirty boots and a good ol’ bro mentality. True, they bring samples to you but you are definitely steered to what benefits them the most. It is easier to go to a showroom where you have everything in front of you than to wait for them to drag 2 boards in at a time. You are shown what they want to sell. They bad mouth local flooring dealers. My salesman was in my home for hours and talked about himself the whole time. They talk a big game about customer service but once you make a deposit, you are pushed aside. The installers they provided did a horrible job. I had to complain to get someone out to fix it. There was never any follow up from start to finish. There was no coordination between any of their people - no one knew what the other was doing. My salesman “Beau” brushed this disaster off for someone else to deal with. No customer service. No follow up. Even the guy who drew the short straw to come out here shook his head when he saw this incompetent job. Huge dips in the floor, jagged cut edges, plastic sticking out from under the boards. Additionally, the extra flooring we paid for was removed by the installers to be thrown out. Half of the floor had to be ripped out to fix their mess. Not only will I not recommend these people to anyone but I will not let them back in my home PERIOD. If something goes belly up with this floor, I will hire someone else to replace it. What a horrible experience. The Cape deserves better.

From inquiring about having our hardwood floors replaced to execution of the project these guys are the best in the biz. Transparent with pricing as well as timeline. Tim, Matt and their install crew were professional and a delight to work with.

We had our floors done by Floor coverings of cape cod back in 2021. Original installation was great and everything went well. We had an issue recently and called the office, someone came out and inspected and scheduled us for a repair the following week. They took care of the issue as promised. Would recommend

Our experience with Floor Coverings International was pretty bad. Floors installed in the spring of 2023, the installers had to come and correct their mistakes 3 times without actually fixing them, then the Owner Matt came by and said there was nothing else he could do with our floors after paying him thousands of dollars thats what we get!!! The glue has been seeping from the seems years. The newest problem is the floor is unsticking so when walking on it you can hear and feel the floor lifting. I would recommend not hiring this company!!! DON'T use them, they don't stand behind their work!! Terrible service, terrible installation, poor workmanship. I only gave it one star because I wouldn't have been able to post my review if I didn't. LGB
