I feel that I owe other home owners to provide a overview of what my family and I experienced with Floor Coverings International of West Santa Clara and our home in San Carlos. Our experience started with Phillip to replace the existing flooring in our home due to a flood. The initial issue came once we signed the contract and paid the 50% deposit, unexpectedly the flooring we were told we were getting was out of stock and would take weeks to order so we went with a backup option. From there, issues we were told that would not be a problem, such as replacement in the master closet, which we came up with a solution for, to underbidding the work and saying there was more than he/they expected became a constant trend. After the floor was installed, our walls had a fair amount of damage from the demo of the prior floor which we ended up paying the majority of the cost for while FCI chipped in. We had a large bump in the middle of our kitchen that stemmed from incorrect prep work and also a board that had no nails in it which was replaced. We had railing that were bent and incorrectly installed that had to be fixed and eventually were. We had stairs that were cracking at the joints and that needed to be fixed and eventually were. We still to this day, per the photos below, missing stair covers and uneven installation in areas. Also, our stairs creek on three of them which we did not have an issue with before. After this most horrific and lengthy experience with FCI, I would strongly consider other options that might be out there for you and your family.

Floor Coverings International did an outstanding job on my home! They replaced the carpet on my entire top floor in just one day, the team was efficient, professional, and extremely courteous. The quality of the carpet installation is excellent, and they left my home spotless when they were done. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring!

Love my carpet, it looks so good and feels even better under my feet. The guys that installed it were great, they moved everything out and put it back They took the old carpet with them. I love this company and will use them again.

Working with FCI was a dream. Casey was so Professional and helpful with options and choosing a color. Ivan was proficient and fast! They were the only company that listened to what we wanted and were able to perform the job. We are so happy with our new floors and will only be using them for now on for all our flooring needs

Super impressed with my custom order. I had an oversized multi angled area rug done and it looks awesome. Great service great pricing and professional through and through! Highly recommend. Years ago I also got my hardwood from these folks and it still looks great even with 2 big dogs here. Great place!

James from Floor Coverings International came to measure ( he could make improvements on communication and his consideration of clients/consumers schedules) he measured, counseled on the correct color of carpet to match existing tile. The real SUPERSTAR was Jarrod the installer of our new carpet pad and carpet… a one man HERO of carpet installation. Jarrod showed up on time, great communication and worked until our whole house install was done, we bought him lunch and he just worked so hard….JARROD at that point was the face of Floor Coverings International in Flagstaff, AZ The picture is Jarrod finishing at 9:30 at night with installing tie downs over the old carpet and pad……

Would recommend to anyone for any flooring job! They were able to fix something that should have been caught by multiple companies that came to fix my bathroom floor. Great customer service and all at a reasonable price. Will be using again for any of my flooring projects!

I needed carpeting for my downstairs. I called Floor Coverings International Carmel and made an appointment for them to come out. Ethan walked me through what was available and helped me pick the perfect pad and carpeting. He was very knowledgeable and not all all pushy. Once the installation was complete, Ethan arranged a follow up visit to check to see if everything was done properly. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a perfect experience with this company. The team was so friendly. They bought the product to me, talked about the vision I had, and were so helpful. Prices were reasonable. Very short wait for the floor to ship and the floor was installed in only a couple hours. I get compliments every time someone comes over. Would absolutely use this company for my next flooring project and have already recommended to a friend.
